Chapter 34

The person's face said, "I'm not dead!!"

Yuan Liu shouted in anger and grief, "Bullshit! This thing is deceiving us!"

"Keep running! Don't stop! Can't you hear me?! Nobody stops!"

Qiao Wan said, "It's really me!! I'm not dead!"

Yuan Liu angrily exclaimed, "I don't believe you!"

How can this thing still speak human language and play tricks!

Yuan Liu kicked one away and another Human-faced Scorpion-tailed Spider opened its eyes, saying, "Liu!"

Yuan Liu swung his knife and stabbed it in the face, "Get lost!"

Qiao Wan quickly retreated her consciousness and confronted another Human-faced Scorpion-tailed Spider with her big Kailijumei eyes wide open, "Liu!"

"Go away! Get lost!"

Yuan Liu felt hopeless and led the other members of the secret organization, running desperately in front, while the army of Human-faced Scorpion-tailed Spiders chased behind relentlessly!

Qiao Wan watched Yuan Liu run faster than a rabbit and couldn't catch up. She commanded the Scorpion Spider to shoot a web at a dark disciple near Yuan Liu. When Yuan Liu tried to save the disciple with his sword, the web wrapped around his sword and pulled him towards her.

Yuan Liu dropped his big sword to the ground in shock and exclaimed, "Damn it! This Qiao Wan's spider is tricky, playing dirty!"

Qiao Wan retorted, "You're the real spider!"

Yuan Liu argued, "Look at yourself, you're the spider!"

As a punishment for his rude words, the spider shot webs to block Yuan Liu's path and wrapped them around his waist, pulling him closer.

Being pulled by the web in mid-air, Yuan Liu shouted, "Run! Keep running! Don't mind me!"

The dark disciples, who were like brothers willing to fight and die together, became angry and drew their swords, shouting, "Yuan Liu!"

"We'll die together!!"

Yuan Liu closed his eyes tragically, not expecting to meet his end here. On the road to become immortal, there was both pain and joy. At least he didn't regret choosing this path. Even in death, he would give it his all! He wanted to drag Qiao Wan's spider to die with him.

"Yuan Liu!"

Just as the spider's legs were about to pierce into Yuan Liu's heart, when he was ready to sacrifice himself, the dark disciples were about to fight the spider to the death.

Suddenly, the Human-faced Scorpion-tailed Spider raised its upper body and elegantly placed one of its long legs on the man's face.

Yuan Liu was stunned, as were the others.

They watched as that delicate leg...

Slap! Slap!

It slapped Yuan Liu twice!

Yuan Liu exclaimed, "Damn it! One should be killed rather than humiliated! They want to humiliate me before I die!"

The spider decisively extended multiple legs.

Crack, crack, crack, crack!

It slapped Yuan Liu continuously, like a spinning wheel.

The spider known as Qiao Wan coolly retracted her delicate legs and asked, "Are you awake now?"

Yuan Liu nodded dazedly, "Qiao Wan?"

Qiao Wan, no longer in spider form, elegant and cool, retrieved her legs and said, "It's me."

When the web was released, Yuan Liu rolled on the ground. He got up in a terrified state, quickly picked up his sword, held his head, and stared blankly for a moment. Then, he decisively swung his sword towards Qiao Wan.

"Qiao Wan, damn you!"

After the chaotic slashing, Yuan Liu finally calmed down.

"You're not dead?"

"No."

Yuan Liu leaped up, a glimmer of hope flashing in his eyes, "You were swallowed but you're not dead?"

Qiao Wan paused, "I wasn't swallowed."

She knew what Yuan Liu was thinking, but those dark disciples who were swallowed by the Human-faced Scorpion-tailed Spider had already died and couldn't be saved.

The light in Yuan Liu's eyes faded, "Then what's going on with you now?"

"I have connected my consciousness with those monsters."

Yuan Liu frowned, "So you've entered the minds of those monsters and are risking your life?"

"That's why I need to explain quickly," Qiao Wan said, "If you follow this Human-faced Scorpion-tailed Spider, you will find us."

"Who else is there with you?"

"Xiao Boyang, Cheng Li, and Wang Wu are all here."

Half of my consciousness led Yuan Liu, while the other half guided Qiao Wan in search of Pei Chunzheng and Mu Xiaoxiao.

At first sight of her, Pei Chunzheng's reaction was as intense as Yuan Liu's. His face turned pale, his pupils contracted, and in the next second, his sword unsheathed and swung towards Qiao Wan.

The sword moved like waves and snow, clear and absolute. Reflected in the young man's dark eyes, it emitted a cold light.

Qiao Wan said, "I'm not dead!"

Luckily, Pei Chunzheng wasn't as clueless as Yuan Liu. After Qiao Wan explained, he immediately understood, his body almost kneeling down, his eyes closed as he let out a deep breath.

"Qiao Wan," Pei Chunzheng's voice was dry, "what's going on?"

"How is it?" Cheng Li asked.

"We found them all," Qiao Wan withdrew her consciousness, leaning against the cave wall and taking a breath. The exertion caused her nosebleed to flow again.

Establishing a connection with so many Human-faced Scorpion-tailed Spiders was too much for her. Qiao Wan wiped away the nosebleed from her head and said, "Let's get out of here. This is their lair, we can't stay for long."

The group supported each other and walked a distance, finding the small cave they had agreed to meet Yuan Liu and the others at, and sat down.

"Let's wait. They should be here soon."

They waited for a while, and finally, Yuan Liu, Pei Chunzheng, and Mu Xiaoxiao appeared.

After all the commotion, everyone was mentally exhausted and didn't have the energy to talk about anything else.

Yuan Liu glanced at Mu Xiaoxiao.

The girl's hair was messy and she looked disheveled. Knowing that all of this was her doing, Mu Xiaoxiao's almond-shaped eyes glistened with tears and she trembled.

"I'm... I'm sorry."

Seeing everyone in such a state, the girl's nose turned slightly red, and tears were welling up in her eyes. She hurriedly wiped them away with her sleeve, but no matter how much she wiped, it seemed never-ending. She resembled a startled little fox, lost and apologetic.

Yuan Liu looked away, reluctant to interact with her, his gaze dark and serious as he counted the number of people. They couldn't stay here, and now that Mu Xiaoxiao was safe, they needed to leave quickly.

In addition to everyone present, he had lost five brothers.

Yuan Liu gritted his teeth and lifted his sword onto his shoulder. "Let's go, we can't stay here."

"Qiao Wan," Yuan Liu hesitated for a moment, "can you still invade the minds of these creatures?"

Qiao Wan was about to respond when suddenly, her stomach started hurting again.

Pain!

Qiao Wan clutched her stomach, the sensation underneath her hand felt alive, causing her to shiver. Her lips turned pale, and she broke out in a cold sweat.

Yuan Liu exclaimed, "What's going on?"

"I feel..." Qiao Wan stammered, "like there's something in my stomach."

Wang Wu immediately made a decision and opened her top, his voice filled with fear, "What... What is this?"

Cheng Li looked in shock, her whole body freezing as her face turned pale.

She saw a young girl's stomach protruding high, something inside Qiao Wan's belly was bumping around, as if it could burst through her thin skin and come out at any moment.

She knelt down, startling Yuan Liu and the others.

"What's going on?!" Yuan Liu exclaimed in frustration.

"Boss, listen!"

Just then, there seemed to be some movement outside the cave, as if something was dragging against the stone wall.

Boom! A gigantic Human-faced Scorpion-tailed Spider, over ten feet tall, suddenly crashed into the cave, whipping its scorpion tail and creating a gust of wind.

The disciples closest to the cave entrance were caught off guard and instantly impaled by the tail.

Two people hanging from its tail were flung out, splattering blood as they heavily smashed into the cave wall, their fate unknown.

"Lao Ba!" Yuan Liu shouted in anger and helplessness, his eyes filled with sorrow. "Lao Shi!"

He swung his large knife and charged towards the spider, ready to fight for his life. But the blade only grazed the spider's body, leaving no harm.

Ignoring Yuan Liu, the spider swiftly pulled back its tail. Yuan Liu, along with his knife, was flung out.

Clutching his knife, Yuan Liu coughed up blood and stared fiercely at the Human-faced Scorpion-tailed Spider.

This creature was taller and larger than anything they had seen before, with dozens of human faces piled on its abdomen.

Everyone present couldn't help but feel nauseous at the sight.

It was easy to guess that this must be the "Mother Queen" of these monsters.

After entering the cave, the Mother Queen turned its pitch-black eyes around.

People poised their swords and treasures, ready for battle.

Just by witnessing it take three lives in an instant, they knew they were facing an opponent they couldn't provoke.

The Mother Queen remained still, and no one dared to move.

To their surprise, the Human-faced Scorpion-tailed Spider did not immediately unleash a massacre, but simply flicked the blood off its tail.

The faces on its abdomen turned and focused in one direction, their eyes opening.

Oh no!

In an instant, Yuan Liu, Pei Chunzheng, Xiao Boyang, and the others' faces all changed.

Qiao Wan covered her stomach, sweating profusely as she looked up with a glance.

At this point, if they couldn't figure out what was going on, then they were truly clueless.

The Human-faced Scorpion-tailed Spider must have laid an egg inside her.

Qiao Wan was in so much pain that she couldn't think straight, but she couldn't help but complain in her mind, was this an alien?!

As the Mother Queen approached her, the thing inside her belly seemed to sense its call, screeching and bumping even more violently.

Her organs felt as if they had shifted, and Qiao Wan coughed and vomited out a mixture of blood and flesh.

Her belly was now raised high, and the thing inside it was impatiently trying to tear through her abdomen, a horrifying sight.

Qiao Wan was in so much pain that she wanted to curse, but she managed to keep her senses. She reached for the sword at her waist, but as soon as she grabbed it, a sharp pain shot through her and she dropped the sword.

Yuan Liu and Pei Chunzheng quickly realized what was happening and stood in front of her, blocking the way.

Qiao Wan angrily shouted, "Who will come and help me?!"

Cheng Li was closest to her. Qiao Wan exerted all her strength and pushed the sword towards Cheng Li. "Help me cut open my belly."

Cheng Li was shocked. "Cut open what?"

Qiao Wan, in excruciating pain, twisted her face. "Cut open my stomach."

"If we don't cut it open, do you want this thing to tear open your belly?!"

Xiao Boyang was stunned. "Qiao Wan, what are you thinking?!"

Cheng Li stuttered, "This, this..."

Qiao Wan roared angrily, "Hurry!"

"I can't do it!" Cheng Li shouted, throwing the sword to Wang Wu.

With a trembling hand, Wang Wu held Qiao Wan's lower abdomen. He swallowed nervously and shook like a sieve.

With determination, he raised the sword and aimed at Qiao Wan's swollen belly.

"I... I can't do it either!" Wang Wu cursed inwardly. "Damn it!"

It was not possible anymore.

There was no time.

Qiao Wan had a vague feeling that something had already formed in her stomach.

She... she must have another way.

Since she couldn't take it out...

Qiao Wan's eyes widened suddenly, filled with ice-cold determination.

Then she would swallow it!!!
