Eventually, the door was lifted up. Countless feet trampled over it, making it tremble and squeak.
In the dormitory, there was a bed near the balcony door, and a bedsheet wrapped around it. The bedsheet extended to the balcony and connected to another one, which stretched further outside.
Because a large number of creatures rushed in, the bedsheet quickly got squeezed and pulled back several meters.
Those monsters quickly crowded onto the balcony, and only a few traces of blood that hadn't completely flowed into the drain remained on the sink.
The eyes that had lost their pupils roared and looked down towards the balcony. Except for the white bedsheet hanging on the balcony, there was nothing below.

The monster lunged at her, but just as it was about to reach her, a pink bucket appeared in front of Su Mo, keeping the monster away.
The monster roared, but Su Mo stood her ground. Its hand was inches away from her, as if it was about to tear her apart.
The monster's breath was like a menacing whisper in her ear. Its blood-stained mouth exuded a horrifying aura, making her hair stand on end.

With red lips, she took a bite of an apple and chewed quickly. Lu Jia sat down beside Su Mo, causing the bed to creak.
Throughout the whole process, Su Mo kept looking at her, until Lu Jia handed another apple to Su Mo's mouth and asked, "Do you want to eat?"
Not knowing if Su Mo understood her words or not, Su Mo slightly leaned forward and approached the apple.
Su Mo sniffed the thing in front of her and couldn't help but frown. Then she turned her head to the side, showing that she didn't like it.
Seeing this, Lu Jia couldn't help but take another bite of the apple. Then she stood up and walked to the food she found, one by one handing it to Su Mo, wanting to see what else this creature could eat besides people.
But this creature didn't eat anything at all, because Lu Jia knew that Su Mo was now a zombie. Lu Jia was prepared, but she really had the urge to scold Su Mo for being picky. It's not good for a zombie to be picky about food.
And this thought disappeared completely after Lu Jia finished eating two apples and her belly was full.
After packing up the food and putting it in different cupboards, Lu Jia instinctively covered them with clothes. She had the intention to hide them, after all, it was the end of the world.

Hearing that, Lu Jia quickly turned her head and made a hushing gesture to Su Mo. But Su Mo, clearly, didn't understand her actions and growled twice in a row.
Outside the bedroom, it seemed like there was a sound, which scared Lu Jia a lot. She quickly ran to Su Mo and covered her mouth.
It wasn't until she realized that she was covering the mouth of a zombie, and only after the footsteps passed, that she shivered and slowly removed her hand from Su Mo's mouth.
And even though Su Mo's face (or what was left of it) didn't look good, Lu Jia could tell that Su Mo was not feeling very comfortable at the moment.
Swallowing a gulp of saliva, Lu Jia watched Su Mo closely. Her heart skipped a beat.
Oh my goodness, is it angry now? Right now, in this very moment, Lu Jia regretted unplugging the internet cable. Without it, she felt trapped.
Little did she know, she heard a thud, and Su Mo punched her arm. Before she could understand what was happening, her arm was punched again. Lu Jia looked puzzled and wondered, what is this? Is it a punishment for being angry?
Then, the hand that Lu Jia had covered Su Mo's with was held tightly by Su Mo's hand. It felt cold and icy, which was quite comfortable in the hot months of June and July.
Just when Lu Jia was nervous and didn't know what Su Mo was going to do, Su Mo placed her hand on her bandaged belly, with the bandage in between.

With her movements, the bed creaked and made a lot of noise in the quiet dormitory, even for things outside the dormitory, it was quite loud.
Sensing all of this, Lu Jia could imagine that there was a large group approaching her dormitory.
"Okay, okay, I'll find food for you. I'll find food for you," Lu Jia had to compromise in order to save herself, even though she didn't know how to find food at the moment.
After getting her response, Su Mo suddenly sat up and became well-behaved again.
Lu Jia couldn't help but make a sarcastic comment in her mind, "Finally, I understand that sentence."
Unable to resist the strong desire coming from Su Mo, Lu Jia involuntarily turned her head.
Finding food isn't so easy. Humans are definitely not an option. Maybe Su Mo would eat meat if it was offered.

Outside the door, there were two zombies lying on the ground. Su Mo had dragged them out earlier, and they had already been shot through the heart.
As soon as the door opened, a strong smell of blood filled the air, making Lu Jia feel uncomfortable both in her heart and in her eyes.
Carefully, Lu Jia opened the door a bit more, then slowly stepped out with one foot.
