Chapter 8
She glanced at the mop beside her, then turned her head towards the monster in front of her. The monster was only focused on attacking her, even the bucket was getting squeezed and about to burst.
She retracted her leg, ignoring the pain, and forcefully placed the bucket on the monster. She quickly stood up, grabbed the nearby mop, and attacked the back of the zombie.
With a loud crash, both the bucket and the zombie fell to the ground.
Su Mo continued to furiously hit the zombie until she was exhausted, unable to stand on her legs anymore. She could only lean against the wall for support.
The monster on the ground could no longer pose a threat to her, blood flowing everywhere.
The monster's hands were still waving and clawing, trying to get closer to her. She screamed, and Su Mo looked at it and raised the wooden stick from her mop again.
A scream came from inside the house.
The door on the balcony closed gently, and the low moaning sound outside was blocked by the door.
Su Mo entered the dormitory and saw a monster without its lower body on the bed. It waved its hand towards her until it fell off the bed.
It clawed with its hands, dragging its body, trying hard to get closer to Su Mo.
Su Mo looked at it, raised her stick, and quickly brought it down again, until the monster's scream disappeared from her ears. She didn't know how many times she had hit it.
The person on the ground, struggling with their eyes wide open, seemed to have a lot of unwillingness, until one hand closed their eyes that had already turned into monster eyes.
"I'm sorry," Su Mo silently said in her heart.
She took off the person's clothes and put them on herself, pulled her own clothes over her body, and smeared some things from that person all over.
Strange stinky smell made Su Mo feel sick repeatedly. It took her a while to get used to this smell.
She looked around the dormitory and saw a package of cotton swabs and a half bottle of iodine on a cabinet. Thinking about Lu Jia, she took these things and put them in her pocket.
She walked back to the balcony, the monster looked at her but suddenly became quiet and stopped growling.
Although it was disgusting, the monster's reaction told Su Mo that her plan would work.
She closed the balcony door again and walked towards the direction of the dormitory door, passing by a half-dead body. Outside the door, there were five or six monsters, probably attracted by the noise inside the dormitory.
Su Mo felt her heart sink, she held the wooden stick in her hand, held it vertically to the ground, lowered her head, and joined them.
Her heart was about to explode, her grip on the stick tightened, and her nails left deep marks on it.
She didn't even feel the pain in her legs anymore, as she imitated the monster's walking posture and moved forward.
The low growling sounds in her ears seemed to be announcing her fate.
Fortunately, these monsters are not very careful when it comes to recognizing their own kind, so although Su Mo was frightened, she managed to proceed smoothly.
If she hadn't bumped into a monster going downstairs while turning on the stairs, she wouldn't have taken a step back.
So, under the gaze of the monster, she lowered her head and tremblingly walked up the stairs, passing by the monster's line of sight.
Seeing the monster behind her, she hurried up her pace as she had only climbed halfway up the stairs.
A slightly impatient growl came from behind.
************************************************************************************
A low growl from an unknown direction made Lu Jia quickly retract her foot back into the dorm.
Sitting on the bed, Su Mo looked at her, clearly not understanding what this food was doing.
Leaning against the door, Lu Jia calculated her current situation. She was now in 8th Building 417, and the only place she could possibly find meat was the school cafeteria. But in order to reach the cafeteria, she had to go downstairs from the fourth floor to the first floor, then turn right, and also cross the 12th dormitory for boys, two playgrounds, and a steep slope.
Regardless of the distance or the predicted outcome, Lu Jia felt that if she went out, it would surely be a dangerous path, but if she stayed in, she might have another month to live.
She looked up and saw Su Mo sitting at the bedside, as if understanding her thoughts. Su Mo silently watched her, pursed her lips, and had a pitiful look that touched Lu Jia's heart, making it hard for her to be cruel.
After thinking it over, she took a deep breath, as if making a big decision. Then, she quietly reached out her hand, exposing her fair arm completely in front of Su Mo's eyes.
"How about you eat me?" she said, with a hint of testing in her tone.
Su Mo looked at the food in front of her and thought that Lu Jia wanted her to come over. So, she immediately stood up.
Seeing Su Mo actually standing up, Lu Jia quickly covered her hand again and said, "Just kidding, just kidding. You sit first, please sit down."
She opened her hands, back of her hands facing downwards, and moved them up and down, indicating for the person to sit down.
Although Su Mo felt confused, she understood some of Lu Jia's hand signs and obediently sat down.
Seeing Su Mo sitting down, Lu Jia finally breathed a sigh of relief and looked down at the stick she was holding in her hand, which she had pulled out from the broom. The more she looked at it, the more she felt insecure.
Trying hard to calm herself down, she needed to go out and first make sure she could protect herself, and also have a handy tool.
Looking at Su Mo, Su Mo also turned her head to look at her. The two of them stared at each other until Lu Jia came up with an idea that made her feel a little disgusted with herself.
But now she could only try it like this.
Crouching on the ground, she quietly opened the door of the dormitory a little, and slowly stuck her head out.
Tick-tock~
Something, unknown, fell on her neck, causing her heart to tighten involuntarily.
Slowly turning her head upwards, there was a head with one ear missing above the opening she made in the door, and its mouth was dripping with something that had once fallen on Lu Jia's neck.
In this situation, Lu Jia was so scared that she immediately lost the ability to speak, and even the ability to move.
The zombie above the door crack reached out a sinful hand towards her, but she was unaware and dared not move, until a force pulled her back.
Hiss~
And then, she was not only pulled far away, but also felt a chill behind her. Not only behind her, but the torn fabric from behind was entangling her belly, pulling away a piece from her front.
Lu Jia didn't even have time to cry, when she heard a loud bang in her ears.
The zombie, in the end, couldn't enter the dormitory and was hit hard by the swiftly closing door, thanks to Su Mo.
Blood and bits of flesh splattered everywhere on the zombie, and Lu Jia, who was kneeling by the door not far away due to her torn clothes, was completely hit.
Her head was now covered in that strange and disgusting stuff.
Seeing that the zombie was not moving, Su Mo silently opened the door. With a loud bang, the zombie fell onto the ceramic tiles and there was clearly no more sound.
Right after, Su Mo approached the fallen zombie and prepared to kick it.
Until her leg was held by the force coming from Lu Jia.
"Wait, don't move."
Su Mo looked at the person beneath her and slowly retracted her leg.
Seeing this, Lu Jia let go of Su Mo's leg and then she grabbed the zombie's hands, dragging it inside and quickly closing the dorm door.
Looking at the zombie now in the dorm, Lu Jia's original intention was to borrow the zombie that Su Mo had killed earlier, but now she didn't need the previous one anymore.
Su Mo looked at Lu Jia, then slowly lowered her head and looked at the white fabric in her hand, so she walked closer to Lu Jia.
Standing next to Lu Jia, she handed the fabric to Lu Jia.
Lu Jia turned to look at Su Mo and saw what she was holding in her hand, only then realizing that her upper body felt a bit cold.
She looked down at her body and noticed that the torn clothing was just right, starting from behind and ending in the middle of her chest, leaving one half exposed.
Su Mo just wanted to return the thing to Lu Jia, but seeing that Lu Jia didn't react, she thought of putting it back on the food herself.
So this led to the next scene, where Su Mo touched Lu Jia's body and chest, even pressing down as if she wanted to put the fabric back on Lu Jia.
Feeling the impact on her body, Lu Jia couldn't help but tremble. She looked at Su Mo in surprise, and even blushed herself.
But Su Mo didn't realize that she couldn't put the thing in her hand back on, and the pressing force seemed stronger.
Unable to hold back, Lu Jia murmured softly. Before things got worse, she made an effort to grab Su Mo's restless hand and took the cloth strip away.
"It's okay, I'll do it myself," she said with a red face, and went to the cabinet to look for something.
The heat on her face was slowly returning, until her nose caught a strange smell.
To make sure, she stopped and sniffed again. The strange and nauseating smell made her furrow her brows.
And at that moment, something unknown fell in front of her and dropped onto her nose.
She looked at it and suddenly remembered something.
Afterwards, she suddenly rushed into the balcony. Su Mo was surprised by her swift movement.
Looking at herself in the mirror, seeing the things on her head, Lu Jia forcefully held back the urge to vomit. However, the resistance in her eyes was too obvious.
Originally, she wanted to go out with a bit of zombie smell, so this would also help avoid some trouble. Lu Jia comforted herself this way.
Walking back to the wardrobe, she picked a white shirt to wear, so that she wouldn't touch her hair.
Returning to the side of the zombie, she took off the zombie's clothes and embraced its head, smearing it on herself. At the same time, her face looked somewhat fierce due to resisting all over her body.
After struggling for a while, she had a feeling as if she had swum a lap in a rotten pool all over her body.
Ready for everything, before going out, Lu Jia found a piece of clothing and dressed the zombie, whose clothes she had taken off.
The door of the dorm was opened again.
This time, she walked out slowly, holding the corpse.
